2018 Ford Focus RS. There is no lack of power

The Ford Focus has been around for two decades and to celebrate its 20th anniversary, the fourth generation Focus models were unveiled and feature new innovative technologies, new sportier design and loaded with standard advanced safety features. Although there are no major changes for the 2018 Ford Focus model, it has always been a top choice in the compact cars category. It managed to establish a reputation for being agile and fun to drive compact car. The 2018 Ford Focus lineup comes with 10 trim levels from 2018 Ford Focus Sedan to 2018 Ford Focus ST.

Interior / Exterior
The 2018 Ford Focus doesn’t have any major changes in most of the available trim levels, yet the interior remains to be on top quality. This compact car has a seating capacity of five people. The interior design comes with standard cloth bucket seats with two-way head restraints. This can be upgraded to leather-trimmed seating. The cargo space will vary depending on the trim levels and body style. Most of the hatchback trims come with 23.3 cubic feet behind the seats which can expand to 43.8 cubic feet when the rear seats are laid flat. The Ford Focus Electric however has notably lower dimensions with an overall 33.2 cubic feet cargo space.

The exterior design will also vary in terms of the trim levels. Each trim level comes with their own distinctive features. Focus Electric has a unique front grille while the Ford Focus ST comes with a performance-inspired rear spoiler and unique bright tipped center-exit exhaust.

Infotainment / Security
The Infotainment system for the 2018 Ford Focus lineup comes with many standard features. One of which is the so-called SYNC 3 which brings the power of Apple Carplay and Android Auto to your Ford. This technology allows you to access an overwhelming amount of handy features including the voice guided navigation, live traffic information, estimated travel time, music and many more. There’s also a 4.2 inch infotainment display, 2 USB ports, Bluetooth, voice recognition, 4 speaker audio system and rearview camera.

For a more satisfying driving experience, you can also consider those available advanced safety features including the lane departure warning, active park assist, automatic high beams, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, and rear parking sensors. The rearview camera on the other hand is a standard safety feature in all trim levels.

The 2018 Ford Focus delivers a remarkable performance on the road regardless of the trim levels you choose. Under the hood, this compact car comes with the standard 2.0L four cylinder engine which is good enough for your daily driving needs. If you are aiming for greater performance, you can try other options like the battery-operated powertrain offered by Ford Focus Electric, the powerful EcoBoost 2.0L engine by Ford Focus ST or the turbocharged 2.3L engine by Ford Focus RS which can generate up to 350 horsepower. The powertrain can be backed up by any of the available transmission option from 5 speed manual to 6 speed automatic depending on your selected trim.
